Sent From Who You Are

Commission Stage

The stage where identity formed becomes life expressed, and you are sent to walk in purpose, steward your calling, and produce fruit that flows from who you are.

What Commission Is

Commission is the stage where what has been formed within you begins to flow outward.

It is where you are empowered, authorized, and sent to walk in your God-given calling, steward your gifts,  and live out your purpose with clarity and conviction.

This is not performance.  This is not striving. This is partnership with God where your life becomes an expression of the identity you have received  and the character that has been formed.

Ephesians 2:10

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

What Commission Looks Like

What was formed within you becomes visible. You lead from identity, not insecurity. You serve from love, not validation. You act from stability, not pressure

Walking in Calling and Purpose

You begin to step into what God has prepared for you.

  • You move with clarity, not confusion

  • You recognize and respond to your assignment

  • Your life aligns with purpose
Stewarding What You’ve Been Given

You begin to carry responsibility well.

  • Your gifts are used with intention

  • Influence is handled with humility

  • Opportunities are stewarded, not chased
Partnering With God

You no longer act independently—you co-labor.

  • You follow the leading of the Holy Spirit

  • Obedience becomes action

  • You build what God is leading, not what you are striving for
Producing Kingdom Fruit

Your life begins to impact others.

  • People are served, strengthened, and impacted
  • What you build carries substance
  • Fruit is produced that lasts

John 15:16

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.

Why Commission Matters

Commission is where identity becomes influence.

Without Commission

  • Calling remains dormant
  • Gifts remain unused
  • Purpose is never fully expressed
  • The world does not receive what God placed within you
  • Impact is delayed or diminished

With Commission

  • Purpose becomes visible
  • Gifts are activated and multiplied
  • Influence is established
  • Obedience produces real impact
  • The Kingdom advances through your life

Ephesians 2:10

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Signs You Are Living in Commission

You begin to notice a shift in how you live, lead, and respond.

You are no longer trying to become someone—you are living from who you already are. There is a steadiness within you, a sense of identity that is no longer easily shaken or questioned. You operate from a place of security, not striving.

Your obedience becomes consistent. You don’t wait for the perfect moment or ideal conditions—you respond when God leads. It is no longer conditional on how you feel, how others respond, or whether the outcome is guaranteed.

What has been placed within you begins to flow naturally. Your gifts are no longer forced or hidden. They move with both confidence and humility expressed freely, but without the need to prove anything.

You lead differently now. Not from pressure, expectation, or performance, but from love. You are present with people. You serve without calculation. You act without needing validation in return.

Instead of striving for more, you begin to faithfully steward what is already in front of you. You recognize that what God entrusts to you matters, and you handle it with care, attention, and responsibility.

There is also a quiet authority in how you move. You no longer need recognition to feel secure in what you carry. You know where it comes from, and that is enough.

And as you live this way, something else becomes evident: You produce fruit. but not at the cost of yourself.

There is impact without burnout.
There is movement without exhaustion.
There is fruit that flows from alignment, not pressure.

1 Corinthians 3:9

For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s field, God’s building.

When Commission is Entered in Too Early

Commission requires formation. What has not been formed cannot be sustained.

If you attempt to step into calling without transformation:

  • You perform instead of partner
  • You build from wounds instead of wholeness
  • You seek validation instead of obedience
  • You confuse ambition with calling
  • You strive instead of steward
  • You burn out or collapse under pressure

.

Ephesians 2:10

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

From Form to Sent

Commission is not where identity is found.

It is where identity is expressed.

You are not sent to become someone.
You are sent because of who you have become.

Acts 1:8

You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.
